The Lunchbox/CW-01 chassis is in many ways an evolution from the Pajero chassis. It basically has the same configuration in the suspension; the grasshopper type gearbox and a-arms in the front. The Lunchbox came originally with friction dampers and springs on all four wheels. The chassis is still made to do wheelies, but the battery is now placed in a central & low position in the newly designed bathtub. This chassis did not receive the CW-01 designation by Tamiya until they re-released the Lunchbox in 2005.
