Cool. Thanks for the info on the Clod Buster (CB from now on) gearing. I may try the CB's counter gear in my Fox. If you look at part BG4 on the CB manual, it looks like it would fit in the Fox, it has the same size shaft bearing and the diameter looks similar. I gotta take out my Fox counter gear and see about the diameter. I know that the small gear of the CB's counter gear is 15T as opposed to 18T on the Fox but I can mess with my pinion size (I'll have to do the math) to reach my desired final gear ratio. BTW, I am interested in this because they make an aftermarket aluminum counter gear for the CB. I have a custom Counter gear for my Fox on preliminary order from a gear manufacturer (sent the specs, just gotta give them the go ahead). Since this custom gear is going to be very expensive, it would be very nice if the CB counter gear works instead. Nothing is wrong with my current gear, I just want an alloy one because I want to put in a brushless motor. I have been looking for the Thorp metal counter gear but just can't find one. I was however, lucky enough to recently aquire the Thorp ball diff. for my Fox. Thanks Man!!
