This arrived today for my Supershot carbon project
I will paint them mat black in order to keep the Carbon look I was with my brother in a Cashconverter's shop and came accross this Landcruiser CR-01 on a display for sale. I started negotiating the price and the salesperson accepeted my offer. The car is complete, with 2 steering servos as it's set up for 4wheel steering, Transmitter, crawler ESC and manual. The body is badly painted with a few cracks here and there and the battery holder is missing. Here a few pictures I also ordered a new body set with the Avante rims from the swiss Tamiya importer. I was very suprised by prices...for example the Rims cost 8 swiss francs (like 7€) and the complete body set, including decals and all the other bits like mirrors etc, for 46 swiss francs (37 €) ! It's arrived. Bit of an impulse purchase, but it is in very good nick. It even had live batteries in the transmitter and some charge in the drive battery. Did a couple of laps of the kitchen and frightened the dog! The Futaba transmitter is like new and there are only a few scratches on the bottom of the car. The shell is also in very good condition, but someone has removed most of the decals. It is fitted with an Mtronics Viper Eco20 ESC and a BSP 1800mAH battery. |
