Spend the afternoon at the club with few people interested by CAD. I showed them how to use Fusion 360 and explained them how to model
- a simplified touring rim - a simplified Tamiya TT01 rear hub carrier with 2 degrees angle... I tried to explain them the good basis, so they go thru a good start for this. At the end, they were speaking about 3D printing and trying to get other small advise. A very good afternoon totally related to RC I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them

I got to do loads of little bits and pieces today.
Stripped down an FAB and Wild One gear boxes to fit the correct spacers inside. I used my servo tester. I found a couple of duds and got a couple more centred correctly. Ordered a set of gears to try and fix one of the duds. I got one of my Sand Rover builds out. Added a pinion, no idea why it was missing. Discovered a crack in the body that wasn’t there before, I think this one is a tad on the fragile side. I’ll fix it, but I feel like a few coats of paint need to go on, to hold it together. Next job will be some tyre lettering. This is high on the list of cars to be finished this year. Attachments:

Cheers Flo. I’ve got a few sets, including one set NIP.
The Sand Rover is one of my favourites.

Sure! I like this model. I have a holiday buggy but the sand rover body is funier for me.

Flo, I think I’m the opposite. I love the Sand Rover, I find the Holiday Buggy the funny one. I’ve got a couple in my stash of projects to be completed. One will be enough for me??
