On to the motor and chassis. Very nicely done but I will count on input from members as to how close this re re is to the original. Came with a couple nice alignment tools, one for the diff assy. and a couple for installing the balls onto the the rear swing arms and yes I even trim the sprue off the tools!!
Now for the front diff and suspension... Attachments:

One quick pull of the protective coating and voila!! A painted body and wing completely cut out!!
Now with wheels and tires and decals Only the driver remains to be painted. Very happy with this build and it will def be a runner, would have liked to have seen a "special" motor like a 25T black motor but otherwise very nice and I can't wait for the 3 feet of snow we just got subside sometime and try it!! Nice work
Agree the silver can is a bit underwhelming.

Hi Jim, I really like the look of the chassis.
Personally I don’t like the body, I know it’s kind of a modern buggy, it just does nothing for me. Again for me, if I could find a shell that looked a bit more real I’d be very tempted. I’ve seen a lot of talk on this model recently and some YouTube stuff as well. So I’d be interested to see how you get on running it. Apparently there’s a bit of plastic at the rear of the chassis that’s supposed to be “ super fragile “, so again it would be interesting to hear if this is the case. I think they’re releasing some hi- cap dampers for this kit which look smart. And as both yourself and Jonny have said, the motor has been underwhelming. Great build and looking forward to hearing your thoughts after you’ve run it.

A nice vanquish here. And they kept the original caps of the yellow shocks

Thanks guys.
Hi Al, I can't wait to run it either. I noticed while putting it together that the stance reminded a lot of my Nissan King Cab, one of the best handling trucks I ever drove so I am very optimistic. I think I see a mild hop up motor in its future. Hi Flo, I like the yellow caps too. How does this re release compare in originality with your original? Didn't the rear swing arms on yours have some metal in them or was that just the Avante??
