I'd love to hear more about settings and reducing stringiness on 3D prints! I've got a Bambu A1 with AMS Lite. I also have a SUNLU 4 roll dryer and am printing with Creality PETG black filament. I get tons of stringing on wheels that I print. The white wheel is OEM and the black one is one I designed and printed. This is after I cleaned it with a lighter. The last picture is how they come off the printer. Any thoughts? |

Well... Since I moved to Bambu Lab printers, I have no more stringing issues with PETG using default generic profile. I just make sure my PETG is dry using a dryer, and after drying the roll goes in an enclosed area with dessicant.
If your PETG is dry, I suggest checking the temperature with a temp tower to see if it doesn't come from a temperature too high (some PETG requires lower temperature than others). If you have to revamp the profile : 1. adjust temperature setting based on a temp tower 2. adjust retractation when the temp is properly set 3. check the slicer settings to have moves inside the print rather than outside hope it helps I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them
