So, as I posted else where, I got my Supershot running and am looking for some upgrades.
I see that there are many parts availble for the TA or TT or CC or CR chassis systems, but I am wondering if its possible to find an ides that cross references all these parts to the older plastics parts that make up our cars?

I recently found a site where they have metal wishbones for the Hotshot / Boomerang etc
and Team Blue Groove seem to have once produced machined parts.

Any suggestions?

That's what our Model/Parts DataBase is for.
The Model DataBase lists all parts on a model ( HERE is the SuperShot)

If you click on a part, you will then see a list of models that use the same part. (Like the A&B parts HERE )

This Database only includes the first 100 models (it will grow...), but I'm sure you will not find original matches between the SuperShot and chassis like TA/TT/CR/CC, unfortunately.

If you are talking about 3rd-party parts, then there is a huge market to research which I have not

Some parts have become quite universal since about 1990, like wheel axles for example.
But many of the other bits are usually quite specific to a car or chassis type.
You'll have a hard time finding direct fit replacements on any car before the F101s and DF-01s, I think.
Some may be close though and could match with the right modifications...

I pretty much have worked it out, for the older cars, there isn't much

Direct upgrades would be the ones the aftermarket brands made back in the day (Parma, You-G, Thorp)...
They may need some eBay patience to find though.
Admittingly, I am not an expert on which of those would specifically fit the Supershot.
