Does the Hotshot II come with a brass or aluminum bumper stay? That's part SA2 from the Hotshot II manual.

the brass bumper stay is used on the Hotshot II.

Nice, I couldn't find a direct reference to it when I looked yesterday so didn't want to guess :)
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

Brass= HS2, Super Sabre, Boomerang
Alu = HS, Supershot, BigWig

At least at my cars :)
