Flexible green silicone wire? 12 years 4 months ago #29119

IIRC someone here (other than me) was struggling to get flexible green silicone wire for redoing/upgrading Tamiya motors in the correct colours... It was some time ago, but nevertheless:

I just bought a load of red, black, blue, yellow, and green 14awg (32A) wire (also available in white) from componentshop.co.uk & can confirm it is indeed green, silicone & very flexible. They do other size wires (up to 8awg/150A & down to 24awg) but not in green.

Nice. :y:
I don't suppose that price is by the meter? That would be pretty freakin' cheap.

Excellent! I've been looking locally for green wire for years..

0.95 GBP per metre, falling to 0.88 GBP for 10 or more metres (of a single colour), or 0.81 GBP for 100 or more ... all + postage though. I wouldn't call that especially cheap  ?

:) Nice,
In France, the law is 7Amp per mm² minimum.
At work I have green wire but not in silicon without any interest for us because this color isn't used same in triphasé.

Beats the prices from the local shops by a multitude. And cheaper than anything I could find on Fleebay. :y:
Haven't looked at shipping yet though...
