Hi, if anyone can make this, I'm willing to cheat on the Mk.1 build

It's a 8mm Aluminium/Aluminum Hex (8mm surface to surface)

This sketch should cover it, I think:

This is my first attempt with Google Sketch, I'm used to AutoCad....

I had to tap the 'blue' M3 thread from both sides (not long enough tapper), I saw in the manual that there aint screws one on each side but 1 long screw that goes al the way thru. Now it somehow doesnt make sense to me threading the blue hole, are you sure it isnt just a 3mm hole?

Looking at tamiyabase.com/...ot-ii.html:

Unique for the Mk1 HS and has two small collars which fit specifically into the recesses within the Mk1 gear box. It is also attached from each side with separate 3mm round head screws. The Mk2 HS/SS/HS2 bumper stay was simplified to the current design with one 3 x 27mm round head screw and flange nut to hold it in place. ...

In the absence of a long M3 tap you've done in correctly by threading it from both sides :)

Sorry for the late response, it's been mayhem at work...

It's supposed to be threaded in both ends, that's unique for the Mk1. :-)

Thank you very much for the nice work, Waterbok, I really appreciate it.
ow I just have to start that Mk.1 resto :-)

It's spot on to what I need, and the packaging was over the top :cheer: :y:

Sheet of clear plastic protecting the Bumper Stay:

And the finished product:

I've test fitted the bumper stay, and it's 100% spot on.
Thank you Waterbok, I owe you one. :)

The inner cover is two piece btw. The bit in the middle can be removed to allow a view on the stay. :-D
