This is what I got from just taking a picture of the PC screen with your image: It is a high performance motor for electric radio control car. Usable voltage 6V to 8.4V, Maximum efficiency rotation speed: 18300 rpm (7.2V), Torque at maximum efficiency: 350g / cm (7.2V - RS - 2 which is widely used as a standard motor for electric radio control car - Turning on the 540 motor as a base, changing the winding of the rotor and advancing the angle, it enhances the power while keeping increasing the consumption of the battery.Tune 7: It is a high efficiency motor which is easy to handle and suitable for the first step of using a trip motor 67Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. I though the RC community had come to the conclusion that the "23T" line had been proven to be a "fact" that had only come to be "true" due to it being repeated/copied without any original source, and to a large extent, the "proof" that assertion was wrong was an article on BlackHoleSun where someone had dismantled a Sport Tuned motor & counted the windings - and found 27.
I can't find that article now, so have to come to the conclusion that I imagined/dreamt the whole thing ... seems an oddly specific and trivial false memory though

The article is here Jonny:
www.blackholesu...01?start=3 I'll tear a couple of mine apart soon... Anybody else noticed the alleged difference in length of the Sport Tuned axle? (which could indicate two versions of the Sport Tuned ?) -Lars Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.

I've moved the Sport Tuned posts to a separate topic, sorry for not doing that earlier.
I've also found this info on timing of an electrical motor:
The thing is, I cant see that my Sport Tuned has any timing at all (I've only checked one, yet). The brushes look to be 90 degrees on the magnets. (like the left figure) How can the Sport Tuned be faster than a normal Silver Can then? (if it has 27 turns, like the Silver Can) Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. IDK if I'm _that_ sorry, the posts were buried before, but now a new thread starts with ...
Looking at my two loose Sport Tuned motors (both bought in the UK in the last few years), both apear to have some amount of timing - it's subtle, but visible: with the motor shaft pointing towards me, with the magnet stop punches on top, looking through the cooling slot, the right hand brush is slightly higher than the left... Looking at (5) nearly new, Tamiya kit supplied, Chinese made Mabuchi RS540SH motors, the whole endbell is skewed, and the brushes look to be significantly off a hypothetical line with the magnets. Incidentally, the motor wire appears thinner, and to have more turns than that in the Sport Tuned... Older, Tamiya supplied silvercans are different - a black metal endbell unit (vintage Monster Beetle era?) and a black plastic endbell unit (vintage Wild Willy era) both seem to have the same timing and wire thickness as the modern Sport Tuned ... My conclusion ... this doesn't really tally with what I thought I knew. I don't really want to dismantle any of these motors as they're either new or still very much serviceable, but without proper measurement it's all guesswork |

All my Sport Tuned are in my models, except for one, but I'm willing to pull them out to check what they look like. I know some of them came from original kits in the "first 100" range.
