There's two auctions on eBay at the moment for B trees...
But I don't think it absolutely necessary to go back to the original setup.
With some modern 12mm hexagonal hubs you could fit all kinds of wheels if the offset is right. :cheer:
If the wheels that came with the car are still in good nick, it might be worth looking at a B tree.
But if you're planning on running the car a lot, I'd make the change to the 12mm hexes and some matching wheels...

Welcome on board nojmo1000 :)

Unfortunately I don't think anyone is going to have those parts just lying around spare in a toolbox - there were only 4 supplied with the cars they fit on, unlike the 12mm nex hubs no-one makes a hopup part - and they always break!

The hubs on the Bigwig I bought & (sort of) restored last year looked fine ... until I tried to remove them when they all just crumbled :(

On the plus side, there should (other than money) be no problem about replacing broken hubs with functional ones - although getting blue ones will be nigh on impossible ... the "B" parts from the re-released Boomerang fit but are black (&

I don't know what the offset on the "Mooncraft" wheels is - but I know they have +1mm offset on the front & +1.5mm on the rear _compared to Hotshot wheels_, according to my measurements...

So, does anyone know if Hotshot wheels have any offset?

TBH I think the offset trivial enough not to worry about it :)

BTW, Hotshot wheels look ok on a Bigwig, modern wheels (unless they are white & dished) just look _wrong_ to me :S

What wheel adaptors are on Thundershot etc? (I should know this but mine's in the loft at the mo) - there's still loads of bits for them knocking about. Failing that, buy a whole car - they're cheap at the mo cos nobody wants them (In my experience....)

These wheel adapters are used on a lot of models, like hotshot, hotshot 2, supershot, boomerang, super sabre etc. They are easy to obtain, but just have different colours which you can paint if you wanna go vintage setup.
