I noticed in my new Sand Scorcher, that with the narrow chassis and wide radio box which are held together by two rubber well nuts, one at each end down the center of the chassis.

Whenever I hit a bump it rocks sideways and I hear a fairly sharp crack, knocking sound. It doesn't seem possible to stop without wedging something underneath. Was wondering if anyone else is familiar with this and how they got around it.

In the end I just used some of those clear rubber feet with adhesive backing to cushion the sides at the rear of the radio box. They barely fit so very little rocking now.

Are your well nuts are tightened properly?
They should bulge on the inside of the radio box, causing the box to be pressed against the bottom chassis plate.
I've seen some not tightening the well nuts enough causing the box to sit loose.
