Nice find! Really really cool car! Hopped up and all.
Great chassis the DF-03. It will have no problem with any kind of terrain. I got these in earlier this week - they are actually a hop up for the Dark Impact but I'm gonna do a custom fit on my TA01 : I think they're gorceous. Hardened for extra strenght and with a nice blue touch... Glas to see you being the owner of this awesome Tamiya! Btw - if you also use the "Insert" button that appears after "Add file" the pictures will be enlarged in the message...

It's a great chassis. Very versatile. Similar to the Manta Ray's TA01. Which is officially a DF-01.
They're not produced as a Keen Hawk or Dark Impact anymore but they are still available as on road versions. I'm sure there'll be other cars coming out on the chasis. These are the ones that are now produced : But I think you could fit many bodies on them since the basic dimensions are the same as many other cars. New unpainted DI/KH body with decals should be about 40-50 dollar on eBay... Whatever you put on it - it's awesome! |
