TOPIC:

I have the last week been teasing you in THIS thread, but the shipment has now arrived so I can show you my new pride and joy in my Tamiya collection:

Some info:
The "Black Porsche 934" is the first ever "Limited Edition" RC model. Tamiya made it to celebrate selling 100.000 of kit no. 58001 (released in 1976). This original Black kit was released in 1977.
No one knows how many of these were made, but some believe as few as 20-30 NIB's still exist.
Tamiya made a similar model in 2010 (?) based on a Tamtech chassis, a black 934 body set and imitating the packaging of the original one.

I'll get back to you with an Blog article about all the specifics about this rare item. Stay tuned ..
