Those prices are very reasonable. Normally custom stuff in low volumes costs an arm and a leg. I could see me using them for my business. |

I sent them DXF files. They prefer plain 2D files, stripped from 3D info. There are some basic rules you have to follow, like a radius of at least 1mm on all inside corners. They are very friendly, and will guide you, if your file is out of spec.

You're going for a green 'Wheeler then?

Can he do them with the right numbers on? (green #1, light blue #2, light red/dark pink #3, yellow #5)... and just what colour is #3 anyway? I'm quite tempted by it but may have to go for a #2 instead.

The numbers are separate from the colours so maybe he can do them on an extra sheat plus the roof number that one doesnt come with Tamiya's decals.
Don't now what kind of lettertype the numbers are though. and we will need these. WR02 speed gear, Square SWR-30 you can run a 23 or 25T pinion with that.

I doubt there's a font that'll fit, for my #5 I had to hand draw it.
TBH I think you'll be looking at excessive wheelying, overheating & worsening in top speed, so I'll wait to see how you get on Should my pre-order actually work out I don't think I'll be looking for more speed, but if I was I'd probably be looking at the Tamiya Sport Tuned motor on the optional 18T pinion & 2S Lipo to add a bit more zing. Even that might be too much, wheelie chassis have never responded that well to "tuning" attempts - I remember that from running an original wheeler on 9.6V and a hand re-wound motor back in the day |
