I'm very close - have been collecting bits and pieces for a while now, but waiting for a very key piece to arrive!

When I was a little boy I remember getting a Tamiya catalog inside a 1\24 scale plastic model and the features RC kit was the black JPS with gold stripes and I wanted that car sooo bad. What a great memory.

During the last couple of days I got these parts.
Narrower Boom Racing wheel hexes with pin fitment, shims for my Big Bear, Racing Truck tires for my Beetle tribute build and chrome axle parts for CC01.

Todd you can adapt the yellow body on the tamtech. Same if it's not exactly the same body. I did it on one of mine. ( the only one shares the same body between the tamtech and the plastic kit is the 961 959 easy kit).

This came in the mail yesterday.Needs a disassembly and a good cleaning, so the question is whether I should try my airbrush skills and give it boxart camo🤔
