Kyosho Stadium Baja Beetle in very nice condition. The reported drive problem seems to be, at first inspection, just a loose wheel (the wheel hexes are on tapers on the axle, so if the wheel is loose, it just spins).
However, the bearings on the diff outdrives look very sloppy, so I will need to look at that as well.

Edit: Hmmm - I wonder if this is why the diff is loose



The (included) instructions show these metal bushes around the plastic bearings on the diff...

Im currently overhauling a Kyosho Tracker for a friend and the chassis looks the same,what holds the battery in place and stops it from sliding out sideways?

There are some hefty cable ties to go around the battery. If these were done up tight, there is no way the battry would slide out, especially if the pack had end caps on.

Ah,o.k,i thought it looked like a cable tie job.The wheels and hubs are extremely sloppy on this one too,i've just ordered these.

Anyway, even if my wife's not happy at all with that, the mailman came again today with this i found from an US-seller ! Since the NovaFox has been released, many original Fox parts went down with the price, and i found a complete body set...even if it wasn't that cheap. I could not resist as the body set is the only part i needed to start my Fox resto.
