Gday all.

My Vintage Boomerang just arrived at my door!

A week after buying it, and after many many years after wanting one, I finally have it!

It arrived in a few pieces (so it would fit in the box) so I will post some pics once I put it together.

Then I'll pull it apart, and rebuild it!

Got another set of rims with pretty good tyres on them, and a bag of parts, not sure what's in there, haven't looked yet!

Needs new suspension arms, and gears in rear gearbox.
I'll find out exactly what it needs when the rebuild begins!

Did the wing come seperate? I actually think this one - as well as the Ray - even look good without it...

Cool project. I'll be following the thread for sure!

Makes me wanna get a Hot Shot.
Don't think there's any Boomerangs left looking at the topics in TB!

This one didn't come with a wing, (they're supposed to have one though) but I agree, it still looks good without it.

I think the Hotshot has it over the Boomer in the looks dept, so I'm even toying with the idea of fitting a Hotshot body shell to it.
The suspension on the Boomer is better than the Shot, so if I build a 'Boomershot' (Hoterang sounds silly! ) I'd have the best of both worlds!

I can't wait to start the rebuild, but have other projects to finish first.

I have 2 Falcons on the go, working on the second one at the moment.
