Hi i am looking for a bullhead if anyone has one to sell or can point me in the right direction? Prices at the moment seem very high on them? I have viewed ebay but im not sure what to look for or what to pay any advice appreciated. Also what difference do the re release decals have with the originals?

Collected it from Warrington this afternoon the guy selling it was a mechanic and i picked it up from the garage he works at. When i went in to pick it up at the back of the garage was a set of shelves packed with Tamiya cars it turns out four of the mechanics all owned the different cars, all really nice guys all in to the hobby it was great.
They had a number of cars for sale including two new in the box midnight pumpkin kits (re release ones) a manta ray a madcap a lunchbox and two monster beetles one of which i did a bit of bargaining with and collected with the bullhead. Whats better is i got it for a steal and the body shell is undamaged apart from one small crack in the nose cone and missing its spotlights at the front. it will need a full rebuild and has a number of small broken parts but it was sitting on the shelf looking unloved so i thought id buy it and restore it a little. Luckily its ballraced already too still cant believe it was so cheap. The bullhead is very nice and was only being used as a display where the mechanic was working. the body is almost new showing no signs of use at all i think someone has already tried restoring it. The only complaint on it is they have used clod buster bumpers which are red but sprayed them yellow for some reason other than that it looks fantastic sitting next to my clod buster. thanks for looking ill be doing a list on bits needed for the monster beetle soon if anyone could help me out id appreciate it. |

Early ones were white & had an orange band in the stripes, later ones were red & had a lemon stripe Edit - I don't know how I managed to spell "white" with an "o" ... and a "j" |
