Looks ok, but depends what the seller wants for it - I paid 80 GBP posted for a new built one with unused decals, silvercans & MSC ... I don't think I'd value that one at any more than 140 GBP.

re import duties - my recent experience is that anything from a non-EU country arriving in a box rather than a jiffy bag will result in charges ... IMO the chances of a Super Clod size box not getting picked up is practically zero. Theoretically it's 20% VAT on the value declared on the CN22 form + 8 GBP handling fee, but as far as I can see it's the invoice value + shipping that's used to calculate the 20%. I think sometimes they use a full UK retail value, or even the RRP

I think a "cheap" one from HK will end up costing you more than buying one in the UK by the time you add shipping costs & import VAT.

I'd suggest getting one from Siedel in Germany - www.modellbau-seidel.de/ - 239 EUR + 10 EUR shipping ... works out around 225 GBP :y:

Thanks Jon great advice as ever :y:

The seller said he was looking for £170 but would offer it for £150 for a cash on collection sale which I think is ok but I like your link a lot as id like to build it from scratch myself and never considered getting it from Germany and that price is great B)

Its a 40th pressie for myself :)

Thanks again
