Lars you can put water under your pieces or make a water "cascade" to replace vertical air flux. My mother had this "cascade" system on her polishing machina and it was more efficient than the air for the dust. At work, we have a small paint cabin which use the vertical vaccum and it works good and it dries the paint faster.
Yes, water attracts dust, but there might be some practical problems with having a waterfall indoors, but good idea. I'll google some and see what comes up
