Last Friday night I got new shoes ready for the 1984 FAV. I am extremely disappointed with the color of the re-released wheels. It is different from the original ones. Unfortunately I ruined one of the original front wheels with some chemical stuff and I had no other chance than just turn to re-re wheels
When I restored this Light Assault Vehicle I did some plast. surgery to the guy to make a Chuck Norris, just like in "Delta Force", the movie ALSO, just now I got the nasty red enamel off of the Kyosho Hi-Rider Vette with a overnight brake fluid treatment. Took all of the color AND the chrome, too And now I am back to the bench as I will get some putty over my Sand Scorcher project #2. You see there is two or three scratches I need to repair in it! You all have a good week!

Thanks, Florian! The front shocks were there when I got the buggy almost a decade ago. It was a total disaster... so much work to get it where it is now Also, good job on that Firetruck. I see you are into static models. Do you prefer them over the large 1:10 / 1:12 scale of RC vehicles? |

Thank you. I like statics because they are cheaper and smaller than rcs. And I can build nice cars.
