Yes....some of them are...as are the wheels and tires. I had bought a parts tree lot to replace the broken rear arms.... used what blue parts came in the lot as well to make car look nice. Rear hubs and shock tower still the old faded blue. Oh well.

Not that I'm planning on doing the restoration on this yet, but there was a couple of thing's bugging me Firstly, The lower front bumper brace looked like it had been chewed by a Rottweiler and because the tubes are hollow with just a little silicone tube to center it on the rod, the rod was also bent severely Luckily I had some alloy stock with the correct external diameter and internal diameter just right for the rod Lathed up 2 new one's, Straightened the rod and Bob's your Uncle The other thing was the rear bumper also looked like it had been through a compactor then straightened out (almost) So I decided to make one out of some 16mm alloy U channel which has a 12mm internal that fits the mount legs perfectly Shaped all the corners to a nice round and it fitted up a treat

Thanks, Yes it will be a straight resto and the Standard Red colour scheme

Very nice indeed! I too would be tempted to stay with that blue.

Here are a few pics of a couple recent builds. The blue truck is a sort of a half tribute using the latest 3 speed platform and the red is a tribute using a Chinese knock off. (I couldn't resist, had to see how it matched up!) Love driving the red one with no fear of ruining something rare.
