I spent an evening sorting out all my RC decals, including typing up all the details I'd need for labels, like car/manufacturer, whether they were original, re-release or reproduction, who'd made them (MCIRacing seems to use very similar tech to Tamiya, and although I do like those made by ScreenPrintDigital, some of them are different and I don't like to mix and match on the same car), and if the maker was me, how I'd made it (transfer on clear, on white, decals, machin cut vinyl etc etc).
Then I thought what's the point - they're in clear pockets, I can look at the decals as easily as I can read a label |

I have prnted the FAV wheel center piece as the current ones I use for mock up is stolen from my FAV re-re.
First part failed as the infill was not that much and the support seems to go right to the infill part so some of that got ripped out when I removed the support. On top of that I printed it with the face side down which made that side look ugly and not complete. Second print I did with 100% infill and with face upwards, whih ment it now looked a lot better on the backside.

After a more consistant showing at the Festival I just needed to fix a few small issues, Tonight I worked on the FXT. Changed out the servo and lowered it on the mounts which cured the saver popping the spring then Fitted a deans to the ESC. I didn't realise I was running the nylon bushings in the front wheels so installed some bearings
Shortened antenna tube to fit under the body so the new shell wont need the hole

Early this morning (or late last night), I packed my cars in boxes for a Vintage event "La Vosgienne RC" I'll join tomorrow morning with my son:
10 cars for me (Nichimo Spirit FF, Marui Hunter, Galaxy and Samurai, Kyosho Turbo Scorpion, Javelin and Turbo Optima, Tamiya Hornet, Lunchbox and Wild One). My son will have his usual Lunchbox, Super Storm Dragon and Super Hotshot (The Bear Hawk is not ready and won't be for this event). I'm not sure there will be power feed on the table, there, and therefore I planned with 2 car batteries (I just repurposed them from another use) to charge batteries onsite... I'm just going to set a check list for the departure : my son always forget something :-D This will be a lot of fun I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them

Today, i spend my day discussing RC vintage with many people in Tendon, Vosges, during the Vosgienne 2022... Most participants were running GP 1/8 offroad cars, with some nice Micro racing Buggy, Bullits and other Twists...
A few pictures... My Nichimo Spirit FF is like a visit card... Many people came to me to tell me they saw my work on some groups or forums, and they found it very interesting, and they liked what they see... Very funny to discuss with one guy about RC and notice during the discussion he is the guy who sent me some resin pilot for the price of the shippment for my Galaxys and Hunter... This was definitely a great moment... And later on in that day, always starting from my Nichimo, discussing with an old guy impressed by my work and you learn during the conversation the guy designed some very reknown 1/8 GP Offroad car, including the Micro Racing Buggy my brother had when young and the MRC Bullit: a piece of history, indeed... I short, I'm tired, spent most of the time discussing with many people, did not run my cars a lot : the weather was bad and the track was dirty... I ran my Luncbox a few times and that's all... But it was still a great moment, with many of the participants looking at both my Samurai and Spirit FF with a lot of interest... My son ran a bit more, but since he forgot to take the new tires for the Super Hotshot, at the end there was no grip anymore... At least, today, he did not break anything. In short, a great day... I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them

After listing cars yesterday I was contacted by a guy last night who wondered if I would trade the XTM for a 4wd car he had, Turns out he had a re-re Vanquish that has never been run
He was familar with the XTM and was capable of finishing, I was taking Bailey to the Air museum in Moorrabin again and the guy was in Cranbourne (only a 30min drive instead of 1.5 hrs to my home ) so he came over and the trade is done
Now I plan to sell my Vintage Vanquish and run the re-re next year at the festival
