After a rainy morning, a sunny afternoon.  So, I prepared the dt03 for tomorrow with my son.

Sunday Club racing had a Good fun day Very happy with First overall in Vintage and fifth overall in Stock 17.5  also managed a 3p in the Stock 17.5 B2 main  Also I had a surprise for everyone which I couldn't even share here incase one of the boys spotted it hahahaha I received my BBX and built it ready for the day 😁 Painted metallic blue and pearl white, Added some alloy wheels and a slipper clutch  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make that TWO sparkly blue BBXs, Andy! Here's what I've been up to most of the day: I started with the part I like the least and got the paint and decals done. Went with a light pearl clear before the PS4. Pics make the pearl flecks look huge - it's much nicer in person. Tower hasn't shipped my spare wheels yet, but the spare front tires did arrive before the kit even. So, I went about looking for a wheel, and found an old GHII wheel that the tire fit well enough for a spare. I finished the wheel with Spaz Stix Mirror Chrome, hoping I'd actually end up with a polished aluminum look rather than actual chrome. That worked, so I sprayed the kit wheels too, to knock down the glare. I think they look much better as "polished aluminum". Now I just have to paint the wretched driver and get on to the shocks, and finally the chassis last. Back to work tomorrow, so I'll pick at it during the week.

It took me a little longer than expected, but I'm 90% done with the rearrangement / clean up of the hobby room.  It looks so much better, and now I know what I have in RC stuff I hopefully won't be double purchasing he same stuff (done that in the past ) .
