Hi , like the CAD you did . I understand your suggestion about a body copy , but as I mentioned in my reply on Facebook - I'm VERY hesitant to send this body out to get anything done , as it's pretty much impossible to replace. If the body gets lost in transit ( there or back) .. I can't build the RC and the kit is then incomplete. If the person doing the job drops of the face of the Earth, or the body just plain gets misplaced /lost , and I don't get the body back .. I can't build the RC and the kit is then incomplete. If the body gets damaged during the process .. I can't build the RC and the kit is incomplete. Cheers

You could try to do a 3d scan of the body with iPhone or iPad, that has a lidar camera equipped.

I am certainly hoping I don't drop off the face of the earth but I understand your concerns, I have several hard to find kits myself and would not be keen to risk any of them. Pretty much all of them I intend to at some stage make copies of. Another thought is if you would be interested in doing the plaster casting yourself? Thats how I make copies of bodies as the plaster doesn't react or do anything to polycarbonate bodies. my journey on vac forming rc bodies can be found here, it will show you the process. www.tamiyabase....es?start=0
