Your projects look very worthy. I would love to do something like this, but I don't have much experience in this area. But I know a lot about gambling, I can recommend the Blazzio project. Besides the fact that this hobby can bring money, it is also fun.

Hi guys,
I've done some random work on models.
I'll do a post later
Before putting the Subaru Brat that Eddy put up for sale, I did some cosmetic work. The rest needs nothing because the model has never been driven.
Brat :
This is how i got it:

Fitted some servos and electronics

And started lettering the tires

Ready for the shelf :-)

Very nice Flo. For us here in the USA it is Thanksgiving so that means a huge turkey dinner with family and a 4 day weekend. 🍗🍗

My Revell model is missing small, but essential, parts. Only half of the mountings for the doors and hoods exist. Also no mirrors, neither interior nor extetrior. So yesterday i started to make the 3d model instead. So much easier to do the modelling when you have a "real" car body in front of you instead of only using 3view drawings.

So the Italeri Wrecker has gone stale so I have shelved it temporarily and launched this new project: the 240ZG Fairlady. This is the original release version. You even get to build the screwdriver!

That looks like a great model kit!

I got the basic body model of the Mercedes finished. For the mold i want to do 3 parts. Just waiting for 2 guys from my rc club to respond. I sent them the dimensions of the model. Hopefully their vacuum forming devices are big enough.

I thought a wall thickness of 10mm will provide enough strength and material to absorb the heat from the lexan sheet. That will make the cost for the mold pretty high. New idea, wall strength of 3,2mm (0,8mm nozzle) and then filling the model with expandable foam for stability. That should reduce the amount of filament to 900-1000gr for the whole model.
