hello I am Alan(not...) and I am a Tamiya adict.

so would it be possible to sue tamiya for the loss of shelf space, time and partner?
think if they give me a free kit every quartal I would drop the case.

That would be a bit like a methadon project. Only that's not as addictive as Tamiya.

Exposure to Tamiya kits may also lead to other side effects such as compulsive hoarding and hop up mania. :pinch:

A different kind of warning - that one would not expect.
The skulls are quite the illustrative addition...

I found this on the bottom of my CC-01 chassis before I'd even built it:

You might think it's a good thing that Tamiya warn people of the possibility of injury, but let me tell you, the Frog had far more vicious whirry bits (especially if you didn't cut the cable ties on the drive boots that well) back in the day and NOBODY DIED. If you got a scratched finger through careless handling during testing, you realised you'd been a bit daft & never did it again.

This labelling is the start of a slippery slope - let the bleeding heart "health & safety" do-gooders get away with this unchallenged & the RC car of the future will be a very boring thing indeed - unrealistic fully enclosed drive train, limited top speed, tiny "safe" batteries, wired remote to prevent radio glitches, "Nova" appended to a classic car name because someone has hallucinated the possibility of being sued because someone else once used the name of the same animal on a completely unrelated range of products, real sponsor names changed to BS made up ones because it might cost a cent or two to license them & so on

So, what can you do to stem this rising tide? How about a decal that shows your contempt for compensation culture, the nanny state and other related buzzwords?

:D

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)
