Hi folks, new here - used to love building and driving my Tamiya kits back in the early/mid 90s and now I'm a grown up (!) I'm looking to get back into it. I used to have a Grasshopper (who didn't!?) and a Porcshe Boxster.
Always like the on-road proper cars and always wanted a Mini Cooper (original, not BMW one) and well I think that would be a nice place to start. Question is - where to start? The high-street is pretty much gone now in terms of model shops (from what I know) and online seems to be a bit a hit and miss - saw an ad for HobbyKing on here, looks to have plenty of stock - good place to start? Can't seem to find a Mini kit anywhere, but HK have a Mito kit which is the same chassis and they sell a Mini bodyshell - is that the way to go? Do any RC magazines still exist?! Lots of questions, cheers Adam (based in Yorkshire, UK) |

Welcome on Board. You can try to see on eBay. I saw yesterday a xb nib mini on a m05.

Look on ebay UK. 58483 is the kit version.
Ask to sellers if they send to UK. Several do that. |
