Hi Hello! My name is Gareth and I, like most of you have the same problem. The Tamiya "obsession" bit as a kid. I went through some phases growing up where it dwindled, even one point where i sold off everything i had collected. Right now it looks like I've been at it for some time though. It all started when i was around 8 or 9, my mother took me to a paperweight book store where i found a couple old 90's RC mags, RC car action, racer, etc. and that was me set on a lifelong intense need to race RC, own RC, build, buy, and eventually, collect all the pretty blue things i could get my hands on.. TRF touring cars are my choice of Tamiya products. I'll do a few "showroom" posts shortly. I have attached a brief idea of some of my chassis. there are still boxes of chassis to be restored, I'll get to them one day... Anywho, hello all, glad to be here, and finally start participating... PS: I don't drink, so my "bar" is more of a showroom. 

 

Welcome and better late than never! I just started back again myself, almost 2 years ago and was glad to find this place as an incredible resource with great people.

Welcome Gareth. Tamiyabase is my first forum and the only one I kept. Only good spirits and helpers here. I love the blue aly parts to. I love your showroom bar. (Same if it misses one or two jack bottles...) . Congrats for your trf
