Hello all, I thought I'd created an id here years ago however I found I was mistaken when I attempted to recover my password....!
I primary build, collect and operate 1/10 and 1/6 scale armor models but I began in my hobby with the Tamiya Sherman when first release long ago in 1974 although in recent
years I find I have little time for 1/16 it having fallen from favor locally.
The main reason I'm here is I still have a soft spot for the 'Series 1' Kyosho Landjump; mildly embarrassed to admit I have 19 of them the last being a near basket case I'm
attempt to resurrect. Trying to make the most of the parts it came with while augmenting damaged parts as best I'm able from my meager spares supply. I have in the past
cast and machined replacement parts but some (read the rear trailing arms) are difficult to make.
I was glad to see some of the manuals here and would like to discuss Landjump Series I variations with fellow enthusiasts. I had my first Landjump new when they were first released in the very early 1980s here in the US but sadly that example is long gone, sold off.
