Hi all im Neil from Tilehurst, I'm currently restoring a tamiya astute. I've recently started working as an apprentice mechanical engineer and hope to (in years to come!!)build my astute from aluminium and carbon fibre. The astute is the 1st car I ever raced so its kinda special.

The Astute sure is a special model. Are you one of them who experienced problems with the maybe over-engineered rear suspension?
I hear some racers say it was to complex, and they replaced the rear suspension with MadCap parts, while others say the Astute held together fine as it was.

Anyway, we would love to see the restoration here, over in the "Build Thread" section
