Calling in from FNQ, Australia
My wet season project this year is a BigWig build. I SO wanted one as a kid but didnt get one (got a 1/20 static scal Lambo Contach instead, ne'er mind. so I am gradually getting the parts together. foudn this forum and think it might help a bit, having trouble finding front shock kit and wheels. I am not goign to build completly original, will be using modern motor, ESC etc. I am not particlu fussed on teh mooncraft wheels, I think the regular wheels from a Hot short or boomerang will look better. Any got to find out if they fit, I foudn some one else building one and he used a different brand (Traxxas?) wheels and shocks. I dont have any experience building like this, have spent way too much time building lego though. so, goign to work through the forums and and find out what I can cheers Hay Ewe |

Welcome on board
I posted a reply to your other thread re wheels, as for shocks - I think the Bigwog shocks are the same as the Monster Beetle ... not that thy're that much rarer, but it might give you another avenue to explore |

G'day!
I'm quite sure the shocks are the same as the Supershot. They show up regularily on ebay, both complete and in seperate pieces. I just got a complete set (front shocks as new, and rear brand new unassembled) the other day for USD11.50. So keep checking both the US and UK ebay. As for the wheels, yes Hotshot/Boomerang wheels will fit. Tom |

Focused on the forum so much that I forgot the roots. But concluding that a modern set (50520) would come very close - these can be set to 80mm. And that the original set (50305) was shared with these models :
