Hola & welcome on board
I can empathise with you ... believe me though, it's no good pointing out that a collection of RC cars isn't really any different from her collection of shoes and cushions, or that spending time on RC cars is not really any less unproductive that watching soap operas Are you sure you should be posting a list of your collection though? "Community property" & all that ... or maybe your RC collection will get named as co-respondant On the subject of cushions though - what is it about women & cushions/throws etc on beds? For a bloke, a bed is somewhere to sleep, and occasionally, "get lucky". Bed frame, matress, sheet, duvet & cover, pillow & case - that's all you need. But no, as soon as there's a female involved you have to have extra throws & blankets, some of which _must_ be folded in a certain way, others have to be angled at a perfect 45 degrees ... then the whole lot has be topped off with a variety of extra decorative pillows & cushions, all of which have to be perfectly arranged in shade order - a task that male colour vision simply is not up to. Look, I can barely tell the difference between blue & green, so _don't_ ask me to choose between 8 seemingly identical shades of red! Cushions ... I mean, why? What is their function? you're not allowed to sleep on them, and what are you supposed to do with them when you do what to sleep? TBH it's easier to sleep on the sofa. And towels! Apparently they are only for decoration. Who knew? I thought they were for drying yourself, & need hanging on the rail as spread out as possible to dry out afterwards. But no, they have to be folded in a specific way so none of the edges show. Look, don't ask a guy to fold any textile item, we simply don't have the "folding" gene. I think I better leave it there before I get started on toliet paper |

Hey there and welcome here with a bunch of like-minded Tamiya junkies!
As for the i/need/a/girlfriend...my advice is (You don't need to own a cow to have milk) Girlfriends will sooner or later want a ring, house, car, shoes, more shoes and....and she will never understand why you have to own one more vintage Tamiya that sits on the shelf and never gets used. Well that's woman for you, and we can not do without them. Enjoy your collection, Marius |
