Greetings from the Ohio River Valley. My Member ID is Mad Max (my dog) but my name is Bird. I am new to TamBase, but not to R/C or Tamiya in general. I grew up in Indiana in the 80s and love vintage Tamiya kits from that era. My first was a Lunchbox. I am currently dealing with major health issues that allows only one luxury...Time To KILL! My professional background is in Mechanical Engineering and Graphic Design. I have worked for my families' biz all my life and I probably had a few of you-alls' dream job! I letter Racecars and Hot Rods. I grew up in Racing, (ARCA Stock cars series), and am still slightly involved; we letter former champ Frank Kimmel's cars in the past & still do many in the series including Frank's nephew Will. My father used to work for driving pacecars and I helped for several years before going on my own into other interests. I got out of r/c for many years from the mid 90s thru a few years ago, but am back in full vengence today. I have been in contact with our industrious leader Lars ( ALL HAIL LARS!!!) and will soon be adding/contributing some blogs/articles/stories for all to read if your really...REALLY bored; or just need self punishment, to each their own.LOL I have notice many of you have much knowledge 'bout graphics and paint as it pertains to R/C, so maybe I might be as helpful as I thought, but I'll give it the 'Ol college try. I have several current projects, and will soon be adding more. I definitely need help, I am a R/C collecting junky, must get fix....gotta have it.....Find yer center Bird, Serenity! PRAY! OK, I am alright, now.....maybe? I'll be in and out and please feel free to contact. I love to brag on just how dag gone good I am, I mean,,,,Good! Darn Good! No ego issues, really. There are a couple of people as good as me.....OK...maybe 3. Actually, no fibbin' I do have some cool tricks to share. Anyone ever thought of a Mini Cooper project w/ Mr. Bean themed paint & Decals? I'll show you how. I have done a Pirates of the Caribean theme race car recently and will post pix of the gold coin #s, #00, Wood Plank Paint job, Jolly Roger Skull color changing ghost decal on the hood of a US Stockcar style body. Until later, or sooner, or, maybe the same time, Birdman, Mad Max, and Madam Tosha.

thanks to all who has already replied. I will be submitting some things to The High Command, soon, including a fun story about myself and family. Great news! Just 2nite i purchased a FX10, all original! It's rough, but all compl. minus elecs.
