Hi, I know the Frog and the BRAT rere’s have a lot in common, but it seems as though the Frog offers slightly higher performance with upgraded shocks etc.. I have a soft spot for the BRAT body style, but want the best performance possible. I assume I could buy a Frog rere and replace the wheels and body with those of the BRAT? Any other modifications required to turn a Frog into a BRAT? 

I did that for my vintage brat tribute. I had a vintage frog and I puted brat wheeles and body. The only things you need are the body posts. And maybe the front body post chassis part. 
In my case I have a hopuped brat with 540 silvercan motor, diff and alloy hydrolic rear shocks. But for rereleased ones they are similar. The rere brat has already hydrolic shocks and silvercan motor. 

Cool! So are the re-re’s basically identical other than the bodies and wheels? Or is it worth buying a frog kit and putting a Brat body/wheels on it?
