Tamiya Super Astute is being re-re-released 2 years 2 months ago #79056

While technically not a re release as the 956 was never 1/10th and never was on the Group C chassis, it looks like it should be a reasonably priced build and I am just soooo thankful its not on the TT-02 chassis!!!!! LOL

Agreed, and maybe the Tamiya Porsche Gods will next bring us a 1/10th 959 on the XM-01 chassis!

Or the classic 959 exactly like the original.  Except for esc and motor.🤞🤞🤞

Because of the unique way the motor installs into the 959 chassis, I'm not sure it is possible to build it with anything other than a Technigold.

As long the motor can is not longer the space between and you make a end adapter, nearly all motors will fit. The only thing holding the motor in the other end is a screw in one of the motor mount holes so it won't rotate.
And Thingiverse there is a adapter for different motor which I don't remember right now.
