Cloudflare does not interfere with the ads, as they are javascript. Good to hear reconnection is better, please keep an eye on it for the next days, as I will experiment on the different cache possibilities.

Yes, Seen that as well. I have now turned off GZIP on the server side GZIP is using the server to compress the content before it's sent to the user, and that requires server CPU work each time. Having GZIP on usually speeds up the site, if the CPU can handle it.

I will be testing a lot of "speed enhancing" settings the next days, so let me know if you notice changes to loading and load times.

I believe Cloudflare does meddle with any JS because they run it through rocketscript. Odd thing was that when I disabled it before, the reconnection issue also disappeared - along with the googlesyndication script. But that's a side note, main thing is it's better now.

Will keep an eye on the speed. Happens to be exactly what I'm fiddling with on my web design hobby site at the moment - async loading and general caching. Google may have some clues for you too by the way (other similar sites have an even more in-depth overview).

I managed to get an incidental < 100ms until window onload now. Nerd or not!

Glad to see the reloading issue has gone, and the main page article banner not appearing/login button not working without a refresh (which was nevr my cache BTW) also seems to have been resolved

Page load times are horrible though - 6 seconds is the best I've seen so far, 12, 19 or 24 seconds is pretty normal, tamiyabase.com/...ecent.html seems to be the worst with load times between 20 and 40 seconds. Well, I say "load times" but it's really 39.999s of apparent "dithering" time, 0.001 of loading :whistle:

I'm not seeing any rocketscript anymore by the way, it's normal javascript type now.

Thanks for the data.It's not that bad at my end, I'm averaging about 10 sec in total page load time. (where waiting for server is most of it.)
This is of course not good enough, but I have a lot of features off now for testing.

You are correct, Edou. I have the Rocket Loader off (was on before server move), and it has a reputation for messing up Adsense javascript.... It'll stay off for now

Now it is fluider

The website is so slow now. It takes 28 seconds to login and 15 seconds to load a page.

Tapatalk is fast for a change. :-p
