If trucks are like tanks, my dad bought full operation set tanks (light and sound modules) and they haden't radio. (In France)

Tamiya did the tanks a little differently than the tractor trucks. For the tractor trucks, the regular kit came with no electronics at all (except silver can) and the full operation kit came with radio system (but no MFC). Sometimes they also offered a factory built option which included both the radio and the MFC. For example, the 56314 is the regular Knight Hauler, the 56315 includes the radio, the 56316 is the metallic version, the 56315 is the metallic version with a radio, and the 23632 is the factory built version with everything. For tanks, the "full operation kit" is the baseline and comes with lots of electronics including the MFC (sound module), DMD (speed controller), drive motors, and turret control motors and servos where applicable, but no radio system. Starting with the 56005 Sherman in 1998 there have always been two versions available: one with radio and one without. There were factory built options of some of the tanks as well. Considering how much work it is to build and paint a tank, these were a real bargain. Based on your information, it sounds like the tank kits sold in Europe did not include radio. The tractor trucks are probably the same. The radio editions must be Japan only.

You're right. It's tricky to list the models not presented on the Japanese Tamiya.com site, so I miss some from time to time. If anybody identify missing models, please let me know here. -Lars Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.
