The yellow driving lights arrived yesterday.

Sure is bright enough!!

Great quality! This is the second set from GRC I own (first is the spotlights for the T1 Camper build)

I think this will work! Will start on bumper build soon..

Yes very good fog lights.

Started on the front bumper today.
Had a difficult time to get the shape and failed many times.
In the end I bent a strip of styrene to shape and glued that to a sheet.
After sanding I made the top.

Need to make it a tad shorter..

I love the bumper and the lego supports. But! Is it a grave digger on the right of the first pict?

Grave Digger from Hot Wheels 1:87 Monster Jam series.
It was one of the Fox's Xmas presents.

Today I cut down the width of the bumper and made the center groove where the bumper is painted black..
Also mocked up the Hella spot lights. They are slightly too big by 1-2mm, but there is not anything else on the market like these.
But I would like to change the light bucket itself on these Hella lights as they sticks out a bit in the rear, even more so when the leds are fitted.I will try to see if I can find shallow light buckets with the same outside diameter..

The groove in the bumper..

VS the real deal..

The Booom Racing 1.55" wheels turned up today.
I could not wait to test them out.

They DO fit M-chassis tires and GB01 tires, BUT you have to assembly them WITHOUT the inner ring. Still clamps fine, just not sure they will hold a speed run lol

With hubcap mocked up. Think the hubcap seems a bit big for this even it's right on scale since they butt up to the ring casted onto the wheel (real world the hubcaps clips onto this ring)

IMO keep hubs with steel rims. They fit fine. Or for vintage period, use fuchs rims. The minilite ones makes more 80's 90's cal look.

Due my ME illness being worse than it has been in years, I have done next to nothing...

But I did install all 4 steel wheels with D60 tires on all corners.
With the M chassis wheels and D60 tire, it has a good amount of sidewall. Seems low profil with the steel wheels as these is a bit bigger..
So I tested Hornet front tire as rear tire (73mm)

And then with steel wheel...

I have ordered 4x racing truck tires which is 70mm tall and those fit on M chassis wheels albeit 30mm wide.
Still need to order narrower wheel hexes as tires rub front and back.
