Yes I can't use the same sort of air pressure used to blast metal, It would definitely damage the plastic Most likely that would cause severe pitting and probable loss if detail. Beside they say the key to a good paint job is your preparation, So no rush

Well I finished blasting the body today I am very happy with the result and that the body is generally in great shape Once I repair/replace the left front guard that Manotas has sent, I will be able to get it in undercoat So next will be strip down the chassis to clean and rebuild

So the new to me vintage grill arrive today It was already reasonably clean but I ran it through the Media blaster anyway as well as the 2 side nerf bars

I have to say that the toy has a pretty face.
