A friend of mine ordered a vw bus on m05. Luckily he asked me to build it for him.  So it is my first m05 built.  The body is prepaint in sweet blue and Windows already smoked.

The kit begins by the chassis and the transmission.  We added ball bearings during the build.

Chassis is now ready and has its strange and poor ultra soft body posts... Realy an idiot system. I did the same 25 years ago when I puted my combi hpi on my m02 Abarth. That was heavier.

Time to begin the hardest part. The body. Same if it is already painted, decals aren't so easy and inverted in the manual. I prefered to put flowers first and chrome parts after. 
all added plastic parts have been chromed with molotov liquid chrome pens  including the light buckets.

And now the final result . Lighted by warm white leds directly plugged on the rx.

But really, I can't believe those parts are actually supplied in plain white :S

Thanks Jonny. 
Bumpers should be yellow and buckets x11. 
IMO a combi couldn't have other than chromed bumpers. 
The wr02 has 2 types of bumpers. European and us version. And they are already painted. 
But the wr02 version is really smaller than the m version.
