TOPIC:

Hope this is in right spot, I have been looking for a windscreen set for my Lunchbox since September of last year , granddaughter had a friend over and woke up in the morning to find the windscreen broken and a crack in the body since then I have not been able to find one not even on ebay is this a Tamiya thing?

Well that's very odd, the Lunchbox has got to be one of the most common Tamiya cars, and - I would have thought before looking just now - some of the best spare parts support.

Maybe all the production is going into the forthcoming Luchbox "Evo" release

I guess just set up an eBay search with the relevant part number (tamiyabase.com/...8-19005231) so you can jump on it when one does appear?

Same was the case I needed a set a few years ago.
Sold out everywhere.

They are made in batches and sometimes the shops don`t order enough.

I got the news one of the shops here in Norway was expecting them to be in stock a couple of monts after I asked.
When they turned up I ordered a set immediately.
Stock run out shortly after that.

So if you see them in stock, order if needed!
You could ask Tony`s Tamiya Parts (TTP) or Modelsport when they expect it to be in stock again.
Edit: I just asked TTP on FB messanger. I will report back when I get a reply

Got a reply this morning from Antony at TTP.
Windscreens are in stock in a few days.

Richard

Right on.

TTP have got the Lunchbox glass in now.
