quick update,
i was missing some bushings for the motormount and also the springs.
so i had made some from brass on my turning bench

the 3 bushings

and mounted with the springs (springs are from a pen with a little modification)

Excellent project!
The 934 is very high on my favorites list, not just because its no. 1, but also because of the dramatic body shapes and level of detail.
It's actually quite funny to look at the level of detail on the chassis compared to the body. Quite obvious where Tamiya were coming from :-)

Keep us updated on the restoration!
