This was listed on eBay Uk, our own Andy was interested in it - but the seller wanted an extra 55 GBP for shipping to Australia. That might sound like a total swizz, but as far as I can see it was only 5% on top of what the Post Office would charge to send a parcel that size & weight
I was pretty sure I could sent it for a lot less with shopping around + reducing the volume as much as possible with total dismantling - which is why I've got it ATM. First impressions are that it's not one of those eBay buys that turn out to be much better than listed Decals have been put on before painting... Break in roof ... Tailgate ripped off & brush painted black on the inside... ... as is the rest of the body. Note damaged body post area & cracks in windscreen: All four tyres are rotten & breaking up... Still, it'll reduce the volume of the parcel ... but wheels are fine, apart from a little damage on the outside + a lot of Evostick that had been holding the tyres on. It looks to be scrapeable/peelable, but I'm glad it's me that has to do it To be continued ... |

Chassis may look bad but I think it's mostly just dirt - all the places that usually break appear to be intact...
... and the underside is very clean & has very few scrapes. Shocks though are both rusty _and_ greasy The rust on the motor looks like a WW2 german camouflage pattern To be continued ... |

Pinion is nice & clean...
... driveshafts show very little wear (other 3 joints similar) ... ... someone didn't put that together very well Matched pair of servos, with sequential serial numbers. RX matches period ... That'll be the wrong sort of screws then ... Good luck turning the car off when the switch it looped & the connector from the MSC goes straight to the RX |

It was all going quite well until this penultimate fastener ...
... I got it halfway out with a clamp & an improvised spacer ... ... and eventually managed to winkle it all the way out ... problem was I think that the end of the unthreaded part had got the tiniest bit of a lip on it, possibly from overtightening the relevant nut; there's some evidence I wasn't the first person to try to undo it, plus hints that someone had tried to take the final screw out without getting the arm out first... All over bar the packing ... Maybe I've been spoiled recently but this thing was/is minging, I don't want to spend a day ultrasonically cleaning someone else's project, but I think I might have to at least go over some of the plastic parts with wet wipes so it's not quite so unpleasant to handle |

Most excellent
PS: The seller wouldn't post to Australia, I suggested He could ship to a UK address, he said he could ship anywhere in the UK for £55 If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate
