Hi folks,
Almost complete my bear hawk restoration. Will the old speed controller (yes the old speed controller that uses servo) handle the sport tuned motor? I'm not looking forward to spend money on the need ESC. Also, I like to use different front and rear wheels, any suggestions? Looking forward to get this baby up and running! Thanks for all the feedback. |

I think that the msc handles the st because this combo was used on the group C. On my bear hawk I have the light rims ( like the egress).

Hey, When you say restoration I assume you have a box art paint scheme "sand viper" "Desert Gator" If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate

I've been real luck with a speed controller I found on E-Bay for like 12 dollars. I have three of them in three different trucks and they work great, of course they are just stock motors I'm using. If I get some time I'll look up on ebay and find the sellers name for you if you want.

For the rear, maybe a set of tgx tires same as the street blitzer beetle. For the front, a pair of straight lined tires like the Falcon or grasshopper 2.
