Hello,
To day I present you the renovation of one classical Tamiya Model : The Hornet It’s my third presentations after the Dynastorm (tamiyabase.com/...art-1.html) and the Boomerang (tamiyabase.com/...erang.html) It’s an original Hornet (not the re-issue!!! I was lucky because the old (and only owner) is someone careful and in more the car rolled that some packs. After the usual dismantling/cleaning I began the reconstruction replaced spares missing or used by new ones: a pair of rear tires , a body, a pilot and a RS torque tuned 540 I added him a "vintage" electronics, servo and electronic 41MHz with futaba radio. Once reassembly was ended, pilot paints, I took care of the body. I chose a silvered green Tamiya, of one part because is beautiful and also because in my youth I was a fan of the green hornet from Marvel. Some pictures Body painted before stickers add-on (see drivers and two lighthouses) Car finished Pascal |

Looks better IMHO than the box art version. It just needs the Green Hornet symbol placed strategically amongst the Tamiya decals & the driver painted in his colours.
My other car is a Tamiya - bumper sticker on my van
