Hello,
To day I present you the renovation of one other classical Tamiya Model : The Thundershot It’s my fourth presentations after the Dynastorm (tamiyabase.com/...art-1.html) the Boomerang (tamiyabase.com/...erang.html) And the Hornet (tamiyabase.com/...ornet.html) It’s an original Thundershot (not the re-issue!!! ). I have begun this renovation from a wreck of frame of thundershot. After a fat inspection, II kept only the completes kinematics completes and some other rooms parts (arms, universal joints, screws,…) All the rest left directly to the dumpster After an important preliminary work: cleaning, purchases of missing rooms, additions of options, … I began the reassembly Some photos of the intermediary steps: Front and Rear assemblies with : Rear assembly part with a 13T Brushed Front assembly with the famous D5 part (new) with its metallic reinforcement Equipped chassis : Front and Rear equipped differentials, Front and Rear stabilizer rods, drives shafts, arms, propeller shaft, dampers supports, ….It just needs dampers, pilot, wheels and body Then the finishes: pilot paint, body cut and paint and finally decoration : BOX ART for this beauty Pascal |
