Before a good restauration, (cleaning and rebuilding with some new spares), I want to run with my clio. And easier to run with it than the lunch.
A radio, and a teu 104bk.
Soon, I will make a point on my spares body and rims.
The matter is that my room is unavailable for several days weeks.
So to patient:

:D I was young and I ran on a dusty floor and that was to protect the msc contacts. This ugly system worked a little....

So, grand mom was checked this afternoon. And she is in healthy.

No big damages.
Front shocks upper holes are lightly cracked

Ball bearings are lubricated with sand...
And good surprise, I forgot that she had aloy 12mm hexagons.

The 25teeth GPM motor pinion is in very good condition

The ball diff is new (I used the original and I didn't drive a lot after)

Gears are nice not dusty like I supposed.

Now, I am waiting a new hearth for her and to catch her new body.

Maybe a new bearings set and a set of tamiya tires. Pictures will come sooner. Tomorrow surely

:woohoo: first run and all my remind are back. Especially the sound of rear tires wich are griting the ground.
Too fun. And the balancing back.... I love it.

:P with her new hearth

Small question: on the sport tuned box is written for the ff01 24 teeth and 66 teeth. I have a 25teeth motor pinion. Have I some risk for.the motor or esc? I run with 2 2000mah. And relatively quite runs

According to the manual that's the tallest optional gearing (1:6.44), & in general it's better to drop the pinion size when you're going up on the motor - but I think the FF-01 chassis is not very fussy... if it wheelspins from a standing start I think you're good to go ;)

Check the motor temperature after a few minutes, the ESC should "thermal" (i.e. shut down in a non destructive way, and be fine once it's cooled down again) :)
